Founded in 1988, by Dennis M. Lewis, local business owner and former city councilman Doug Welborn, Central Food Distribution Services, Inc/The City of Central Food Bank has been serving the Central community for over 25 years. We started in a small room at the Central Fire Department and have grown to become the leading food bank in the city of Central
